Saint Stephen’s Nursery School
St. Stephen’s Nursery School is located in the lower level of North Hall on the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church campus, 351 Main Street. Our students are primarily from Ridgefield, but we have also had students from the surrounding communities including South Salem, Redding and Danbury. Although some of our student are also parishioners at St. Stephen’s, the majority of students are not and represent diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
Our program acknowledges how young children learn; through movement, sight, sound, smell, sensing, feeling, taste, and touching. To create our unique program, we have incorporated this knowledge with early childhood educational principles and fashioned our school into a traditional, play-centered nursery school.
